Who We Are
At Credit Counsellor, we provide general information about debt solutions to individuals seeking support with their financial situation. Our role is to explain how our service works and, where appropriate, facilitate an introduction to an authorised firm who can carry out a full assessment of your circumstances.
Credit Counsellor operates as a consumer introduction and financial intermediary service. As part of our process, we may gather preliminary information from individuals regarding their financial situation and confirm whether certain basic eligibility criteria may be met before an introduction is made.
Where a consumer wishes to proceed, we can facilitate a connection between the individual and an authorised firm. This may include transferring the enquiry directly or securely sharing relevant information collected during the initial enquiry so that the firm can conduct a full review.
Our role is limited to facilitating introductions and assisting with the preparatory stages leading up to the consumer’s engagement with the authorised firm. We aim to handle all enquiries in a professional and respectful manner and understand that financial difficulties can arise for many reasons, including unexpected changes in personal circumstances.
Credit Counsellor does not provide regulated debt advice. Any advice, assessment, or recommendation regarding a financial solution will be provided solely by the authorised firm following a full review of the individual’s circumstances.
Credit Counsellor may receive a referral fee from authorised firms where a consumer proceeds with a financial solution following their assessment. Any personal information provided will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
Imagine not having to worry about:
- Bailiffs taking recovery action
- Missing out on family day out and holidays.
- Paying interest and not being left with anything at the end of the month.
- Buying things which you always wanted to.
- Spending quality time with children due to working overtime to keep creditors happy.
- Cards being declined at the till.
- Demanding creditors with phone calls and collection visits.
- Being able to cover bills and emergency costs which could arise.
- Being able to borrow money from lenders without being rejected.
Complete our online form to provide some basic information about your financial situation. A member of our team will contact you to explain how our service works and discuss your enquiry.
We provide general information only and do not offer regulated debt advice. If appropriate, and with your consent, we may introduce you to one of our FCA-authorised associate firms for a full advice assessment.
Debt solutions have eligibility criteria and may not be suitable for everyone. Fees may apply depending on the solution you choose, and these will be clearly explained by the service provider before you decide whether to proceed. In some cases, fees may be incorporated into agreed monthly payments.
There is no obligation to enter into any arrangement.
